Thank you for visiting our website. As Honorary Consul to Thailand, I am somewhat limited in the services which we are able to provide direct. However through our daily contact with the Embassy in KL, which is ultimately responsible for Thailand, we believe we will be able to accomodate most of your needs.

Through this site, we endeavour to provide an understanding of what the Consulate can do for you and an initial overview of Ireland's increasingly strong links with Thailand.

We continue to try to improve the level of service and information we provide. If you have any comments on this site; the way we provide our service; or new areas of interest which we should try to include, we shall be delighted to hear from you.

VISA UPDATE

A new visa system - AVATS - will be introduced on MONDAY 25TH MAY 2009 .

After this date all visa applications made in Thailand must be registered online before attending the Consulate with all the required supporting documentation.

PAPER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Applicants should now refer to the following website to access the online application - www.visas.inis.gov.ie

Please ensure that on attending the Consulate to submit all the required documentation to support your online application that you also bring with you the printed Summary Sheet confirming the details of your registered application and that the Declaration is signed by the person in whose name the application has been made.

Please also ensure that the submitted photo is of the required standard as specified on the website, failure to do so will result in the application being held until an acceptable standard of photo is provided.
